Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Leak Reveals Stunning Curved Display & 200MP AI Camera

Samsung is reportedly bringing back the Edge branding with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, blending the signature curved AMOLED display with the latest hardware and AI-driven photography. While not officially confirmed yet, early leaks and concept renders hint at a premium design evolution of the Galaxy S series, with narrower bezels, curved edges, and a larger screen-to-body ratio. The S25 Edge is expected to cater to fans who loved the immersive display experience of earlier Galaxy Edge models, now paired with Samsung’s most advanced internals.

6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED Edge Display with 2K Resolution

The Galaxy S25 Edge may feature a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 2,600+ nits peak brightness. Its quad-curved design (curved on all four sides) is said to be refined for better grip and usability without accidental touches. The in-display fingerprint scanner, Gorilla Glass Armor, and slim profile make this phone as premium as it gets in Samsung’s flagship lineup.

Next-Gen Snapdragon Power & One UI 7

Under the hood, the S25 Edge is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 3nm process, with enhanced NPU for AI processing, better thermals, and longer battery life. Paired with 12GB to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, it’s designed to handle everything from 4K editing to console-grade gaming. The device will run Android 15 with One UI 7, bringing new AI personalization features, battery health tools, and extended software support of 7 years.

AI-Powered Camera with 200MP Sensor & Nightography Pro

Camera-wise, the S25 Edge may offer a quad-camera setup, headlined by a 200MP ISOCELL sensor with OIS, AI scene optimization, and new Nightography Pro features for ultra-clear low-light shots. It may include a telephoto lens with 5x or 10x zoom, ultrawide lens, and advanced computational photography tools that leverage on-device generative AI to improve detail, dynamic range, and skin tones in real time. The front camera may also get an upgrade to 50MP, capable of 4K60 video.

Battery, Charging & Eco-Friendly Materials

The phone is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 65W wired and 45W wireless charging, along with reverse wireless support. Samsung will likely continue using recycled materials for the frame and packaging, in line with its sustainability goals. The IP68 rating and Armor Aluminum frame will ensure durability.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Timeline & Price in India

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge alongside the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models in January 2025, with India availability soon after.
